During the epidemic period, the development of goods trade was greatly impacted due to the interruption or irregularity of logistics and people flow. However, with the characteristics of digitalization, networking and intelligence, as well as the wide application of telemedicine, online education, sharing platform, collaborative office, cross-border e-commerce and other service businesses during the epidemic period, the development of trade in goods has been greatly impacted the support of force.

Since 2014, China has become the second largest country in global service trade for six consecutive years, second only to the United States. In the past five years, China's service trade has increased by 4.7% annually, and the service import and export will reach 785 billion US dollars in 2019. The rapid development of China's service trade not only contributes to the growth of global service trade, but also injects China's impetus into the development of global economy.

At present, China has issued the overall plan for comprehensively deepening the innovative development of service trade. President Xi Jinping pointed out clearly that China will unswervingly expand its opening up to the outside world, establish and improve the negative list management system for cross border trade in services, promote the construction of open platform for the development of services trade innovation and development, continue to relax the market access of service industries, and actively expand the import of quality services.
