Recently, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment issued the announcement on the release of three national pollutant emission standards (No. 51 of 2018), including "Limits and Measurement Methods of Exhaust Smoke from Off-Road Mobile Diesel Engines". The announcement pointed out that in order to implement the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and the Air Pollution Prevention Law of the People's Republic of China and to prevent and control the environmental pollution caused by the exhaust of motor vehicles and non-road mobile machinery, the Limits and Measurements of Exhaust Smoke from Non-road Mobile Diesel Engines and the Limits and Measurements of Pollutant Emission from Petroleum Vehicles (Double Idle Speed Method and Simple Working "Limits and Measurements of Pollutant Emission from Diesel Vehicles (Free Acceleration Method and Loading and Deceleration Method)" is the national environmental protection standard, which is jointly issued by the Ministry of Ecological Environment and the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration.

          Among them, "Non-road Mobile Diesel Engine Exhaust Smoke Limit and Measurement Method" (GB 36886-2018) is applicable to agricultural machinery and will be implemented on December 1, 2018. This standard specifies smoke limits and measurement methods for off-road diesel mobile machinery. This standard is suitable for smoke emission test of off-road diesel mobile machinery and on-board diesel engine equipment.
