It is well known that ensuring the cleanliness and cleanliness of diesel engine fuel system can improve the service life of precision parts of the system. But in the use process, often because of one reason or another, the fuel is not clean enough. In order to enable users to better use the diesel engine, the author talks about this problem from the following aspects.

     一. Develop the habit of cleaning fuel tanks regularly

     The fuel tank is the place where the diesel oil is stored. If the fuel tank is not clean, it is difficult to ensure the cleanliness of the supplied diesel oil.

     1. Usually we should pay attention to the filter screen of the refueling port. If there are sediment particles, we should clean it. Once the filter screen is damaged, we should replace it immediately. The cover of the tank should be well capped and repaired after it is lost, so we can't replace it with cloth binding.

     2. The fuel tank of diesel engine should be cleaned every 100 hours. The cleaning method is to remove the tank with a small amount of oil, shake the tank back and forth, and then release the diesel oil. If the discharged diesel oil is not clean, it can be repeated several times. When cleaning the tank, it should be forbidden to scrub with cotton cloth and silk, so as to avoid blocking the oil passage with residual fibers.

    二.Regular cleaning of filter elements of diesel filters

    Diesel filter is an important component to filter diesel oil and ensure its cleanliness. With the prolongation of service time, its filtering capacity will decline. The diesel engine must be maintained every 100 hours. Several maintenance methods are introduced here.

    1. Scrubbing method. Remove the filter element, block the central orifices at both ends with self-made plugs, then gently brush the oil with a brush from top to bottom in the oil pan, and finally rinse with clean oil.

    2. Back-blowing method. Put the filter element in the oil tank, use compressed air or air pump, blow dirt out from inside of the filter element, and then rinse it with clean oil.

    3. Replacement method. At present, most of the paper filter elements are used once, and can be replaced on schedule.

    When maintaining the filter, pay attention to the rubber gaskets at both ends of the filter element. Otherwise, diesel oil will flow directly through the filter without passing through the filter element.
