Causes
(1) the friction and wear of the parts moving with each other during the running of the diesel engine gradually changes the geometry and size of the parts.

(3) improper disassembly and assembly of parts. Without special tools in disassembly and assembly, the parts deform and touch the surface, and the surface is not clean, so that the contact surface is not tight.
(4) aging and deterioration of parts. Such as rubber oil seal, water seal, long time by oil or water corrosion, aging and deterioration.

Hazards
(1) oil leakage
The oil leakage in the lubrication system of the diesel engine will lower the oil level in the oil sump, which will cause the parts to be lubricated and burned. The leakage of diesel oil in the fuel supply system of diesel engine will cause the oil circuit to enter the air, and the diesel engine will start difficult. At the same time, it will cause energy waste and economic loss and pollute the land.
(2) water leakage
The leakage of the cooling system of diesel engine not only brings troubles to water, but also causes the cylinder head crack when the water leakage is serious. For water cooled diesel engine, the water leakage of the cylinder liner will dilute the oil in the oil pan, accelerate the wear of parts, and cause the burning accident in serious cases.
(3) air leakage
Diesel engine block and cylinder liner joint leak will burn the cylinder pad, so that the diesel engine start difficult, power down.  The leakage of the air intake system of the diesel engine will cause dust in the cylinder of the diesel engine, thus accelerating the wear of parts such as cylinder liner, piston, piston ring, valve and pipe, making the diesel engine difficult to start, increasing fuel consumption and decreasing power.

(1) the method of treating leakage with padding
Oil leakage in the gasket of the oil pipe joint of the diesel engine can be avoided by adding a double smooth thin plastic cushion on both sides of the leakproof washer.
(2) coating liquid leakage treatment method
Diesel fuel tank, water tank, etc. the crankcase joint leakage, can be done to soak in alcohol, paint smear at the seams can be cleaned leakage. But the paint cost is high, only use in an emergency.
(3) the method of treating leakage with oil
When the paper gasket of the diesel engine oil pan, cylinder head, gear chamber cover, crankcase cover, etc., as long as the paper pad is intact and the joint surface is clean, a layer of butter can be coated on both sides of the paper pad, and the bolt can be leak proof. If the new paper pad is used, the new paper should be soaked in diesel oil for 10 minutes before the installation, then wipe it out, apply a layer of butter on the joint surface, and then install it.
(4) leakage treatment with liquid sealant
Solid Diesel Engine GASKET defects (such as pit, trench, rupture) formed interface leakage and destructive leakage when applied in solid gasket clean on the joint surface with liquid sealant, after curing can form uniform and stable, continuous adhesion of strippable film gasket can prevent all leakage.
(5) anaerobic glue leakage treatment
Leakage occurs on the diesel engine ventilation bolt, stud bolt, screw plug etc., with anaerobic adhesive coated in the bolt, screw or screw hole clean, fast curing film forming, filling the part void, and can withstand greater pressure, but also has a strong anti shock and loose fastening function. If it is used in the thread of the high pressure oil pipe joint of diesel engine, the leakage control effect is better.
(6) the method of restoring size to cure leakage
Diesel engine shaft and shaft sleeve, the bearing and the bearing seat, the valve and valve seat, self tight seal, and packing etc. the cup felt leakage, available size plastic coated with recovery of clean parts wear parts, etc. after curing, formed a thin layer of mechanical strength wear resistance and heat resistance, high then, turning, boring, scraping, filing and other mechanical processing, restore the part geometry and the matching accuracy, so as to solve the leakage problem.
(7) leak treatment with adhesive glue
