    Thai prime minister says he will formulate policies to tackle protectionism

    Thailand's exports totalled $113 billion in the first half of the year, down 2.91 % from a year earlier, according to the ministry of commerce. Thai exports fell for the fourth consecutive month in June, driven by the global economic slowdown and economic and trade friction between the two countries, business officials said.
